Lady in the Cadillac
Why do you look so sad;
You settle there with metal back,
Have your days been that bad?

Vacant eyes see neither left nor right,
Sunshine and children they miss;
Descend from your social height
And enjoy their warming kiss.

Lady in the long, black car,
I'm available as a friend;
Eject from your glass and metal jar
And seize a happy life to the end.

It's late, don't wait another mile;
My jeans don't hold a dime,
But I can show you how to smile
While you still have the time.
